A busy month starting with Open Farm Sunday at Brixeys Farm, Bisterne on 11th and the Bransgore 5k or 10K Fun Run on 18th starting from 10am at the Recreation Ground

And then we have our Drop in Sessions so that you can learn how to use one of the many defibrillators in our area if needed and how to do “CPR” to help Save a Life. It’s easier than you think.

Wednesday 21st June we will be at Bransgore Village Hall, 116 Burley Road, Bransgore BH23 8AY between 1.30pm and 4.30

Presentations and demonstrations start at 1.30, 2.30 0r 3.30 but people can drop in and out at any time. A chance to learn and practice CPR on our manikins and use a training defibrillator.

Also on Saturday 1st July we will be back at Bransgore Village Hall, 116 Burley Road,

Bransgore BH23 8AY at 10.30am to 1.30pm

Presentations and demonstrations start at 10.30, 11.30 0r 12.30 but people can drop in and out at any time and as before it’s a chance to learn and practice CPR on our manikins and use a training defibrillator.

Have a cup of tea while with us. Even if people don’t feel able to do it themselves, they can still save a life if they know how it’s done and can tell others what to do in the event of a medical emergency.

Later this month we will be running an intensive recruiting campaign to find more volunteers to become Bransgore Community First Responders. Watch for shop window posters, leaflets through your door and letters home from schools if you have youngsters. Bransgore needs your help with more committed volunteers who can be on call for just 20 hours over the month in case needed at a local medical emergency. Training over two weekends gets you a nationally recognised qualification and uniform is provided. Leave us a message on 0844 500 9699 and we will get back to you with more information.
